- I'm a student at the University of Ottawa from Calgary, Alberta. I am embarking on an adventure called the 777 Challenge in which I will run 7 marathons in 7 weeks on 7 continents to raise money and awarness for Hope Runs. Hope Runs is an organisation. Hope Runs works to empower children in impoverished communities in Kenya and Tanzania with an understanding of personal health, social entrepreneurship and technology through running. In addition to raising awarness about issues related to poverty, HIV/AIDS, political and systemic repression, etc in Afrrica and around the world I am working on raising $42 200 for Hope Runs, plus $8000 for my trip, before I go. For this I need your help!
